The objective of Computerisation is to make the Transport Department Citizen friendly in its functioning and provide SMART services to the public. It is intended to build comprehensive database and provide on-line services to the public covering all gamut of services of Transport Department like Issue of Driving Licenses, Registration, Permits, and Taxation etc. All the offices in the state have inter-connectivity through APSWAN. The services covered under this project including supply of hardware, software, site preparation, electrical, networking, deployment of manpower at every site, support and maintenance of the same for the entire project period. After completion of BOOT operator’s period of execution(executed by Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL), Hyderabad), Transport Department floated the tender for maintenance and facility management of the project. Tera Software Ltd was awarded this prestigeous contract by the AP Transport Department.

  • Facility Management of all 31 RTO’s by deploying 3 members per site including Database Administrator, Jr DBA and Networking Administrator. Activities covered under FM are Database Management, Management of Servers, PC’s, Printers, UPS, Generators, Card Printers, Cameras, Finger Print Devices, Scanners, Network & Communication lines, Backup Services, and Overall Project Administration.
  • Maintenance of material in all the 31 RTO’s spread across AP by 18x7x365 support model of operation. The maintenance including Hardware & Software (application and system) covering Servers, PC’s, Printers, Scanners, UPS, DG Sets, CARD Printers, Cameras, Scanners and Networking Devices (Modems & Routers).
